I attended IBM Software Live! at the Sandton Convention Centre last week. Suddenly I found myself comparing the event to last year's Sun Microsystems Tech Days. IBM is a rather serious looking man sitting in a dull-green office wearing a pin-stripe suite. Sun is a bleach-blonde surfer dude catching the next big wave.
